Easy to Use Gap Filling Alternative to Nails and Screws
You can guarantee no more nails with this multi-functional grab adhesive from the GRIPit range. Use Hippo no nails adhesive instead of nails and screws for sticking internal materials like wood, brick, concrete, and plasterboard – especially when one surface is absorbent.
No Nails Required
This solvent-free, no-nails glue is perfect for indoor use. It’s sticky right out of the tube and provides instant grab strength, just like a nail, when the glued parts are pressed together. For these reasons GRIPit No Nails is an essential tool for most indoor building, decorating, or DIY projects. And especially useful when there is a need to replace nail fixings.
Ideal for Bonding Wood
You will find this product great for fixing the most common types of building materials, especially timber and brickwork. As it will create very strong bonds, particularly when both materials are porous. That’s why we can recommend it as a reliable wood glue or construction adhesive for mounting things like skirting boards, carpet griper rods and door frames.
Available in Economical Foil Sausages
We sell Hippo no nails adhesive in cartridge or sausage packaging. Foil sausages are more sustainable and more economical than cartridges. This is because they create less waste and are generally much better for the environment. So we always charge less pro-rata for products that come in foil sausage packs. You can learn more about the benefits of sausage packaging by checking our product guide on this link.

Frequent Questions About Hippo No Nails Adhesive
Can you stick mirrors with no nails adhesive?
No. Whilst no nails adhesive offers high initial tack and instant bond strength, it should not be used to fix mirrors. Instead Hippo recommend it’s more powerful counterpart PRO1. Furthermore very heavy items may require support whilst drying, or additional fixings.
What will Hippo no nails stick to?
No nails adhesive will successfully glue: wood, metals, ceramic tiles, natural stone, brick, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, and polystyrene. However one of the substrates being bonded must be non-porous.
How long does it take before no nails adhesive stops working?
At normal indoor room temperatures of around 23°C with 50% humidity, the open working time of Hippo no nails adhesive is usually between 13 to 18 minutes. This refers to the amount of time freshly applied adhesive remains wet and suitable for receiving materials.
How Long Does No Nails Take to Dry?
Typically this product has an open working time of about 15 minutes, but repositioning is possible for up to 30 minutes. After this, good adhesion is normally obtained in about 1 hour, however it generally takes between 24 to 48 hours for Hippo No Nails Adhesive to be thoroughly dry.
