Therefore, in conjunction with its very low Shore A hardness, this makes it extremely suitable for sealing expansion joints. Furthermore its also ideal for sealing glazing joints, perimeter joints around window frames, and finishing building connection joints.

Advantages of Alcoxy Curing Silicones

One part multi purpose silicone sealants that utilise an alcoxy curing system have unique characteristics. They release alcohol as they dry, as oppose to the more popular acetoxy system, which releases acetic acid.
